Founder’s Story

Mr. Teoh Hin Heng, the Managing Partner of I-Consultancy has spent more than 30 years in his role as graduate consulting engineer, shares his insistence on how he never compromises on the quality of his engineering skills to fulfill clients’ and architects’ needs on special tasks as well as to comply to clients’ extraordinary requirements in key projects all over Malaysia. As a brilliant Mechanical and Electrical Engineer Graduate, Mr. Teoh had been working as a consulting engineer under his mentor, Mr. HC Toh since his graduation in 1984. Circa 2009, he took over the company and renamed it to I-Consultancy as his mentor decided it was time to retire from the field.

Mr. Teoh Hin Heng, an Associate Member of Institution of Engineers leads a specialised field of science that requires a team of qualified counsels to offer their expertise, knowledge, experience, knowledge, experience, and innovation to help other consultants, quantity surveyors, and related engineers deliver the best performing infrastructures.”We contribute our ideas to the clients as well as other relevant consultants, architects, quantity surveyors, and civil engineers so that the projects can be executed smoothly” he clarified and added that consulting engineer must have the foresight of potential risks and solutions. Upon obtaining approval from all local authorities, consulting engineers will monitor the entire building and construction process, providing necessary advice on the safety and feasibility issue as well as completing projects in time to meet clients’ schedule.
